The passing away of legendary boxer Muhammad Ali at the age of 74 has sent an outpouring of condolences from admirers all over the world. His glittering boxing career, gift of the gab and unwavering courage in face of adversity is sure to earn him a special place in the hearts of everyone forever. But there was also a playful side to the man who once famously said, “I’m so mean I make medicine sick.”
This vintage video of Ali engaging in a mock fight with a little boy is just one of the many instances when the sports icon was able to win hearts of both the young and old. The old clip shows Ali readily accepting punches from the toddler amid loud laughter and cheers from spectators.
The best part comes when the three-time World Heavyweight Boxing champion readily falls in defeat after taking the last punch from his adorable opponent. Hilariously enough, the boy ends up giving him a sweet kiss even after being declared the winner in the boxing ring.
