Watch: Villagers make bizarre discovery after cutting open dead anaconda

Villagers in Brazil were left in a state of shock when they discovered what an anaconda’s final meal was before its death. A video captures the moment when the lifeless anaconda was cut open to find out what was the cause of its death.

The video shows the dead serpent lying on the ground with an unusually bloated stomach. Then one of the villagers slices open the snake’s stomach to examine its insides. It is finally revealed that the creature’s last meal was one of its own find – a nearly identical anaconda.

Anacondas are mostly known to prey on animals like deer and pigs. It can be concluded that this anaconda’s death was caused by the last meal he had.
