Kishan Reddy flags off Bharat Gaurav train

HYDERABAD: Ever since the Bharat Gaurav train services started from Secunderabad railway station, most of the elderly and heritage enthusiasts are making optimal use of the hassle-free journey to different destinations in one go.

On Saturday, flagging off the third Bharat Gaurav train from here, Union minister G. Kishan Reddy said that he was delighted to see a festive atmosphere with passengers being accorded a traditional welcome amid Kuchipudi renditions.
Around 700 passengers embarking on the Ganga Pushkarala yatra will be visiting Puri, Konark, Gaya, Varanasi, Ayodhya, Ram Janma Bhoomi, Hanumangarhi and Arati at Sarayu River and Pryagraj.

Reddy said “Indian Railways is providing a great opportunity to the pilgrim passengers all over India with the introduction of this special category of services. Bharat Gaurav trains have evoked a great response from the people of the two Telugu states.”

Adding further, he said, “Railways is also introducing Mata Vaishnodevi with Haridwar – Rishikesh Bharat Gaurav tourism train from June 10 to 18.”
The event was attended by Arun Kumar Jain, general manager, SCR, Abhay Kumar Gupta, divisional railway manager, Secunderabad division and P. Raj Kumar, GGM, IRCTC.
