Many travellers return home from a trip with expanded horizons, fond memories of new experiences and even souvenirs, and 82 per cent of Indian travellers, they also come back with inspiration to make changes to their personal style. According to recent research commissioned by Booking.com, the global leader in connecting travellers with the widest choice of incredible places to stay, 67 per cent of Indian travellers say they travel in order to explore local fashion trends.

Be bold in Bengaluru

Explore bold and beautiful designs at Bangalore Fashion Week in India, from 15 to 18 August 2019. This Fashion Week consists of four days of fashion shows, workshops and seminars and features some of the best designers from India and across the globe. This vibrant destination has more to offer too, with many fashion exhibitions taking place at local galleries to coincide with Fashion Week. For further fashion inspiration, travellers can visit Fashonista-Nashi, an international fashion and accessories show or The Trousseau Show, a wedding, lifestyle and Diwali exhibition.

Get creative in the Caribbean

This year’s Caribbean Fashion Week will be held on the beautiful Island of Kingston, Jamaica and will run from the 13 to 16 June 2019. The event will showcase the work of the region’s best fashion designers and will offer visitors the opportunity to experience the “creative city” for themselves. For travellers looking for inspiration for their wardrobes, Kingston offers various institutes and galleries such as the National Museum Jamaica, that in the past have put on fashion exhibitions for travellers to enjoy.
