Bengaluru: Bengalureans have started feeling the summer heat over the last two days, but weathermen say there is no significant change in the city’s weather as the figures are normal for February.

Mr Sundar M Metri, head, meteorological centre, Bengaluru, said, “Temperature in the city is normal with the maximum temperature at 32 degrees Celsius and minimum at 17 degrees Celsius.”

He further said that because of the wind movement from northern parts of the country towards the Western coastal regions, windy weather is expected in the city for a few more days.

“Day temperature has witnesses a 1-2 degree increase in February from 30 degrees to 32 degrees Celsius. But it is normal for February. Because of the winds, the hot weather will be pleasant during the day and cold during the night,” he said. The city will remain dry during February without any spells of rain he added.
