Kondapur: KIMS Hospitals Kondapur has been awarded the prestigious AMR Smart Hospital Certification by the Indian Medical Association (IMA), recognizing its commitment to implementing advanced antimicrobial stewardship practices in line with global standards.
This initiative focuses on implementing advanced Antimicrobial Stewardship (AMS) and Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) strategies, aimed at combating the growing threat of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and enhancing patient safety.
The certification, issued on August, 2025, is valid for two years, according to an official release from the hospital on Thursday.
