International Yoga Day: Yoga in 25 languages at Kanha Shanti Vanam

A new world record to be attempted by Heartfulness

Hyderabad: Heartfulness Institute is set to attempt yet another world record this International Yoga Day at the Heartfulness Headquarters at Kanha Shanti Vanam in the outskirts of Hyderabad. The world record will be attempted under Asia Book of Records and India Book of Records for ‘Maximum Languages Used in a Live-Streamed Yoga Session Simultaneously’. The Common Yoga Protocol as a standardised 45-minute yoga sequence recommended by India’s Ministry of AYUSH will be guided in 25 languages (13 Indian languages and 12 international languages) across 13 timezone -staggered streams demonstrating yoga's unique ability to unite people across cultures, countries, and traditions by trained Heartfulness instructors, creating an unprecedented multilingual wellness experience.

The event will take place at the respective local times followed by felicitations. Dr Vasudha Rani - Adjudicator, Asia Book of Records will conduct the felicitations. Asia Book of Records and India Book of Records team at the venue along with the key Heartfulness volunteers and practitioners will be present at during the event. Around a thousand participants including 300 Agniveer members are slated to join the International Yoga Day from the venue while participation is welcome virtually from any part of the world in this free yoga event.

Earlier, Heartfulness created a Guinness World Record for the most viewers of a guided meditation livestream on YouTube during World Meditation Day. Heartfulness invites individuals, families, wellness enthusiasts, and yoga practitioners worldwide to join this historic celebration of health, harmony, and human unity through yoga.
