Modern medical services must be available to all

 VIJAYAWADA: Eminent physician Dr. Dutta Ramachandra Rao said modern medical services should be made available to all people.

Addressing a “Continuous Medical Education (CME) Update 4” seminar under the auspices of Anu Group of Hospitals on Sunday in collaboration with Indian Medical Association, Vijayawada, Dr. Ramachandra Rao pointed out that innovations in the medical field are leading to new treatment methods.

Anu Group of Hospitals head Dr. Ramesh Gajula, who is also the organising chairman of CME Update-4, said neurosciences, cardiology, orthopaedics, endocrine and mid and high-level critical surgeries are being dwelt on at the seminar. He said this will help bring in the latest innovations in multiple super specialties.

Paediatric orthopaedic and trauma surgeon Dr. K. Durganagaraju, neurosurgeon Dr. Thegala Ramesh are the organising secretaries of the CME Update 4. Dr. G. Sridevi, Dr. K.V. Ravikumar, Dr. Naralashetty Anil Kumar, Dr. Soumya Medarametla, Dr. S. Kiran Kumar, Dr. P. Visveswara Rao, Dr. C.S.R. Saikrishna and Dr. Syed Zafar are members of the seminar’s scientific committee.

President of IMA Vijayawada Dr. M.A. Rahman, secretary Dr. P.V. Durgarani, eminent cardiologist Dr. Sumanth and eminent neurologist Dr. Vivek Nambiar were present.
