An eight-month-old baby who was born blind and without a skull is now being looked after by kind Buddhist monks in Thailand. Little Nurafaiha, who hails from Sayaburi in Thailand, is unable to drink milk like other children because of her condition and has to be fed through a tube.

Nurafaiha’s case came to public notice after it was highlighted on social media after which people came together to collect funds for her treatment. Her father’s meagre salary from his job in a factory is not enough to pay her medical bills as the family has four other children that go to school.

The child will not only require regular hospital treatment but will also need several surgical procedures on her face and skull so that she can live a normal life, reports the Daily Mail.
