Several people suffer from conditions caused by complications when they are born, and some of these can affect their physical aspects years later. Several people may even face body image issues due to such conditions, but thankfully medical science has figured out ways to help them.

A 42-year-old man in Portugal developed breasts and had a micropenis because his testicles disappeared in the womb. The absence of testicles prevented his body from producing testosterone which also gave him a high pitched voice.

But testosterone injections were able to make up for the lack of the male hormone giving him smaller breasts, facial hair and a deeper voice. Doctors believe that his testicles became twisted in the womb and dropped off in the womb as blood supply to them may have been cut.

When he first visited the hospital doctors found that he had intersexuality caused when a person is born with genitals not fitting in definition of male or female bodies. Due to this he had a man’s face but the physique of a woman.
