Hyderabad: Viral fever, cold, cough, common complaint

Hyderabad: Viral fever, cough, cold and viral diarrhea are being reported in private and government hospitals in the city due to the continuous spell of rains. Five out of 20 people are found to suffer from fever, cough and cold due to severe fluctuations in the weather.

Dr Anish Anand, general physician explained, “We are seeing cases of viral diarrhea due to the contamination of water and food. These bouts of diarrhoea require proper medical management to avoid them becoming a recurrent feature.”

Fever Hospital had a major rush on Tuesday and their out-patient department had more than 1,300 patients with complaints of fever, cough and cold.
