Club Sulaimani Opens Its First Tea Cafe in Hyderabad's Lulu Mall

Hyderabad: Kerala's first tea cafe chain, Club Sulaimani, made its Hyderabad debut on Saturday by opening its first outlet at Lulu Mall in Kukatpally.

It was inaugurated by Rejith Radhakrishnan, COO of Lulu Group India, and Urmila Chauhan, Femina Miss India Telangana-2023.

Club Sulaimani, known for its 51 tea varieties, caters to over 2.5 million customers across its 15 outlets.

Muhammad Shafi AT, founder and CEO of Club Sulaimani told Deccan Chronicle that their journey began in Calicut in 2015.

"Sulaimani is more than just tea. It’s a unique blend of spices, herbs, flowers and fruits and provides a distinct taste, flavor and loads of benefits. Whether you need a mood booster, travel comfort or a youthful delight, there's something for everyone in our kitty. Our Signature Sulaimanis are crafted with natural ingredients and we maintain top quality with utmost care. Milk tea enthusiasts can go in for Saffron milk tea or Caramel cardamom milk tea while Lemongrass milk tea gives a refreshing experience. Bubble tea is a must try," he said

Sulaimani shares the same base as black tea, but it is enriched with a unique blend of spices, herbs and a dash of love.

"It's a tea with a soul, a story, and a history that stretches from the Malabar coast to the heart of Hyderabad. Anyone can give black tea but our variety is special because it is made of herbs, flowers and spices," Shafi added.

Chairman of Club Sulaimani, Riyas Kalliyath said "Club Sulaimani is an energetic organisation that offers lively products and services. We are determined to do our best and hope to expand to the Far East and the Middle East. The concept of Sulaimani is to spread love through food. There is global concept known as suspended coffee. Where people buy one coffee plus one. They buy coffee and have one and the other ones money is left in the shop for anyone to get a free coffee who cannot afford one.

Same way, in club sulaimani, they have a bew concept called "sip and share".

Customers who go there can pay 10 or 20 rs extra with the bill amount. So the extra amount will be displayed in a board. If 20 people payed 10 rs extra- a fund of 200rs will be pit to the "sip and share" fund. So, students under 18 years, who visit the store and show the ID card gets free sulaimani until sulaimani's worth of Rs 200 is used up."
