This is the seasong for Diwali chocolate hampers. Neha Rathod, who loves and lives in the world of baking, is now rolling up her sleeves to whip up some fabulous edible goodies. The festive celebrations turn eco-friendly and delicious with these assorted orange flavours and nuts. Neha’s gift hampers are perfect to celebrate with a ‘Kuch Meetha Ho Jaye’ mood.

Neha has been baking since ten years began by experimenting with the ingredients in her own kitchen. She says, “When I was eight years old, Christmas decorations, glitters, baked goodies and chocolates delighted my little self. Somewhere in the corner of my heart, I used to wish the I am surrounded by chocolates all my life.My secret wish got fulfilled. What’s more, I have support in the form of my  beautiful companions; my mom and sister who have helped all the way along.”

She extends her services from baking cakes to festive chocolate orders and more. As the number of order goes high, she tends to experiment more and more. Now Neha is all set for this Diwali. She has a pertinent question to ask. Why burst crackers when you can eat them?

Neha’s secret wish remains the same. “I conduct chocolate making workshops and share my knowledge, experiences, tips and tricks and assure them to trust in chocolate which is sweet to everyone. I make sure the taste is outstanding but not repetitive. I experiment with various vari variations. I still dream of creating my own empire in the world of chocolate making,” she chuckles.

While she initially learnt the ropes of baking and chocolate making from her own kitchen; Neha later attended classes in Pune during her college days. In order to establish her own identity, she got enrolled in a culinary institute from Spain— the land of different breads.

Neha shares about her contribution to Diwali. “Sweets are an intrinsic part of our culture, especially during festivals. I always wanted to add my unique touch for Diwali other and create something beyond sweets with ghee. So this Diwali I have come up with options like Anaar with assorted nuts, Chakri with Butterscotch, Rocket with Mint flavour, Laadi with Orange flavour and Sutli Bomb with rice crackers.”

She concludes by saying, “Always believe in Magic! Making handmade and homemade sweets with love and they will always be appreciated.”
