The wedding season is upon us and as we a gear up for it, we need to be equipped with the right outfits and most importantly , the right products to create a perfect look for every function. Whether its mehndi or sangeet, when it comes to wedding fashion it should be up to date. So here are three pocket-friendly makeup products by makeup expert Parul Dutt, Sochic, which will help you to put your best face forward this wedding season.

Moisturizer
Moisturizer not only helps in smoothening the skin’s surface for even foundation or concealer application but also helps in hydrating skin that helps skin to look less dull. “Moisturizer also helps makeup to stay longer. I usually recommend Cetaphil’s moisturizer as it is for all types of skin and is very pocket-friendly. Moisturizer generally acts as a makeup base and you can move further without even using a primer.”

Perfect foundation
According to Parul, it is important to have a perfect foundation for your skin. It should not be very light or very dark. She says, "For pocket-friendly foundations, Maybelline's Fit me range is very good for oily skin and for dry skin I woul recommend Maybelline's Superstay 24 hours foundation. But before all this make sure that you don't cake-up your foundation. It should be blended well. It is important to treat your foundation as your skin"

Lipstick
Parul feels that it is a must to have a nude lipstick and red lipstick that matches your skin tone. "For the red, I suggest M.A.C's Ruby Woo lipstick as it suits all Indian skin tones very beautifully and in nude colour, you can pick M.A.C's velvet teddy. Also, it is important to understand that if you are going for smoky eyes keep make sure you keep your lips neutral and if you want to make your lips bold then keep your eye neutral," she adds.

Tips and tricks
"Wash your hair a day before so that on the D-day your hair is not that fluffy. Your scalp tends to release some amount of oil every day and washing it a day before becomes manageable. Stay hydrated, as it is going to show up on your skin. Water really helps in brightening up all the above products, irrespective of what brand you are using. And last but not least always be happy and confident in whatever you wear on your body or on your face," Parul concludes.
