Sahapedia (sahapedia.org), the online encyclopaedia of Indian arts and culture, is conducting a Baithak titled ‘Already-not-yet’ at Aswathi Hall, Kerala History Museum, in Edappally at 5.30 pm on Saturday, March 23. Artist and curator Aryakrishnan will be in conversation with Dr Santhosh Sadanandan, faculty of School of Culture and Creative Expressions in Ambedkar University, Delhi. His works are in the field of critical historiography of Indian art and cultural practices.

The event attempts to engage with the question of ‘minor’ language and ‘minoritarian consciousness’ through discussions around the connective, convergent and divergent dimensions of the heterogeneous aspects of contemporary artistic practices. The inabilities of ‘representation’ to capture the affirmed world of difference will be discussed. This dialogic imagination attempts to uncover the political implication of such representations, which mediate everything, but mobilise and move nothing.
