Calligraphy workshop in kochi

The artist, though fluent in both modern and traditional calligraphy, likes to experiment with new techniques.

Shunthini, a calligraphy and lettering artist from Tamil Nadu, is all set to teach a new version of calligraphy to Kochites. It’s called the nib pen version. Those who are interested in learning this art of letters can register for her workshop that will be held at the French toast, Panampilly Nagar, on June 2 from 10.30 am to 4.30 pm.

The artist, though fluent in both modern and traditional calligraphy, likes to experiment with new techniques and has therefore tried and excelled in nib pen calligraphy. Her workshop, too, is regarding the same.

The session will include training on the basic strokes of calligraphy, lowercase alphabets, and words formation. The participants will also be trained to write their name in calligraphy.

The properties required for the workshop, like Oblique nib holder, Nikko G Nib, Sumi Ink and practice sheets, will be provided.
