Telugu version of 'Shri Guru Bhagavat' launched

Hyderabad: Noted scholar and spiritual thinker Dr Chandra Bhanu Satpathy launched the sixth volume of the Telugu version of his work ‘Shri Guru Bhagavat’ here on Sunday. Originally written in Odia, Volume 1 of the Telugu audio book of ‘Shri Guru Prathanalu’ was released on YouTube.

The event was attended by Governors Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan of Telangana and Bandaru Dattatreya of Haryana and Union minister G. Kishan Reddy, actor Tanikella Bharani, and large number of Sai devotees.

The book has about 34,000 lines with each line containing nine letters (nabakshyari chandassu) and published in eight volumes. It shares insights on various aspects of the guru-shishya tradition and elaborates on different types of gurus and disciples, their pious relationship, and other interrelated matter of significance.
