Natya Mayura Academy's Yashoda Krishna ballet enthralls audience at Shilparamam

Hyderabad: The Yashoda Krishna ballet by Natya Mayura Kuchipudi Dance Academy enthralled the audience on Shilparamam. On August 12, the ballet captivated the viewers with the Vrindavan being recreated along with the Gopikas in their fine dresses, all exhibiting the essence of His divinity.

Over 25 disciples of Natyacharya M. Soundarya Kaushik performed the ballet written by Kakutoori Padmavathi. While the music direction was by Vempati Srivalli Sarma, it was choreographed by Guru Dr Maddali Usha Gayatri.

The Guest Panel included Yakshagana Kantheerava – Dr Pasumarthi Seshu Babu, Siva Sankara Bhagavatula (Scholar and Sanathana Dharma Promoter), Tanuja Tangirala (Principal, Pallavi Model School, Boduppal, Hyderabad); Prof Lakshmi Reddy (Retd Professor, NIFT Hyderabad).

The ballet was performed by Natyacharya M. Soundarya Kaushik as Yashoda; Manvitha. C as Little Krishna, senior artiste Smt. N.Lakshmi Sree, senior artiste M Vaishnavi. A.Lakshya, B. Dhrithi Reddy, G. Shraddha, K. Satyanvitha, K.Aarushi, K.Pravardha, K. Shubhagi, K.  Supreeta, L. Rithvika, Laasya. P, Lakshyaa shree. A, M.D. Pranika, P. Rupsha, R. Sahasra, R. Nithyakshara, Samhita.C, V. Shresta, V.Vennela, Y. Sumana, Kum M. Thanmai, G Jayadev as Baby Krishna.
