Hyderabad: Jaipur Literature Festival (JLF) often described as the ‘greatest literary show on Earth’ will be back with the 17th edition at its cherished home – Jaipur. A programme celebrating literature from around the world with its distinctive flavour, substance and bringing together readers, writers, thinkers, authors and aficionados.

The themes ranging from fiction, non-fiction, crime fiction, literary criticism, history, politics and current affairs, poetry, art and culture, translation, graphic novels, gender, science and medicine, food and memory, biographies and memoir, mythology, spirituality and religion, mental health, fashion and lifestyle, law and justice, geopolitics, sports, environment, climate change and climate justice, pets and animals, cities, literary icons through the ages and Indian languages will be showcased through the programme scheduled to take place between 1st February and 5th February.

The event will be graced by a host of distinguished authors, celebrities, speakers including poet, lyricist and filmmaker Gulzar’; author, columnist, public speaker Anand Neelakantan; author and poet Arundhathi Subramaniam, actress, chef and model Maria Goretti among others. Covering an extensive range of topics, these literary luminaries share their work, ideas and perspectives.
