Govind Dholakia shares priceless life lessons on ethics and morals

 Hyderabad: Union ministers Parshottam Rupala and G. Kishan Reddy on Monday unveiled the book ‘Diamonds Are Forever, So Are Morals,’ the autobiography of diamond tycoon Govind Dholakia written by  Arun Tiwari, co-author of former President Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam’s ‘Wings of Fire’ and Kamlesh Yagnik, an aide of the tycoon, published by Penguin Random House India.

The book was released by the Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FTCCI) jointly with Patidar Samaj Hyderabad and Secunderabad (SPSH) and Love for Cow Foundation (LCF) on Monday.

Dr Shashibala Singh, director of the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), recalled that Dholakia was born into an agricultural family in Gujarat and went on to set up India’s leading diamond crafting and exports company, Shree Ramkrishna Exports Pvt. Ltd (SRK).

Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his praise for the book had remarked that the simile between morals and diamonds in the title set the tone. “The emphasis on morals is particularly relevant to modern times, especially for our youth,” he had said.

’Diamonds Are Forever, So Are Morals” narrates Dholakia's inclination toward spiritual well-being as well as the fine balance he maintained between his spiritual self and his karma. The autobiography has been launched in London, Surat, Delhi, and Kochi and has garnered appreciation from across the globe, according to a statement.
