Towards a Tomorrow

Inflore’19 organised by RCBS aims at providing a platform to exhibit the skills and talents of college students.

As in each edition, Best Manager, the flagship event of Inflore titled as Arising Acumen will be the star attraction at Inflore 19 also. Aimed at finding out the ability of a manager to make quick judgments and quality decisions which affect people associated to a task, the event uses cases and simulations to evaluate the logical and analytical skills of the participants.

Rajagiri Center for Business Studies (RCBS) is organising the 15th edition of its Annual Management fest— Inflore'19 at the Rajagiri Valley campus, Kakkanad on 6th and 7th December, 2019 and this year's theme is Tomorrow land; For the people of tomorrow. The theme, according to the organisers was chosen in order to depict the purpose of the fest, a battlefield of opportunities and a land of hope where the future begins, and celebrations never end.

Around 1500 participants from various prominent colleges including IIMs and IITs across the country are expected to participate in various events that will take place as part of the fest. This year, Inflore comprises eight management and 10 non-management events that will offer a platform to the participants to exhibit their skills and emerge as a leader. The total prize money of the fest is Rs 6 lakh. This year two new events have been introduced, one each in the management and non-management categories.

 One is She-Era, a she-entrepreneurship event that is exclusively handcrafted for women entrepreneurs. Claimed to be an attempt to tap and identify the inner entrepreneurial skills in young women, the event is designed to bring out the leadership skills in women find out those with entrepreneurial inclination. It will aim to open a futuristic platform for the world to identify the wonder women in society. In the non-management category a mime competition titled Masquer has been introduced.

Last year, Inflore adopted the theme Rebuild Kerala and year also the event will abide by the guidelines of sustainability through proper Waste Management system and employing recycling in the best possible manner. Various rounds of management events are also designed to bring in ideas on solution to waste management.

Inflore'19 will be inaugurated today at 10.30 am by Amit Agnihotri, CEO of MBA Universe.com and founder of Asian Management Conclave. Saju Navodaya, often credited by his stage name Pashanam Shaji and best known for his comedy roles in Malayalam films will be the guest of honour for the cultural night.

 The valedictory function will be held on 7th December at 6 pm where actor Asif Ali will be the chief guest. Dr. Lee M. Penyak, who is the director of Study Abroad and Faculty Enrichment at Western Michigan University, USA will be the guest of honor for the event. Renowned Malayalam movie directors Prasobh Vijayan (Lilly fame) and Anuraj Manohar (Ishq fame) will also be present at the function.
