Advancing women’s agenda takes front row in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association, a globally acclaimed leader in advancing women’s development and growth in the healthcare industry deepens their purpose in India. Bringing this important agenda to fore, they held roundtable discussion 'The Healthcare She-E-O: Women at the Helm' in the city at Novartis Corporate Center with leaders from Novartis, Eli Lilly, ZS Associates, Sanofi, Syneos Health, MSD and Pfizer and deliberated on how they could galvanize a sustainable growth chart for this cause.

Three key points that emerged are:

  1. The role of men as champions for gender balance
  2. Prioritizing health for the women in healthcare
  3. Representation and equal pay for women at workplace

Reflecting on the highly meaningful deliberation, Mary Stutts, CEO of HBA said, "For nearly 50 years, the HBA has been dedicated to furthering the advancement and impact of women in the business of healthcare, with a vision of 'creating women leaders for life.' The HBA India community has grown from 15 to over 450 members, and the HBA India Leadership Summit is a testament to the devotion of volunteers and partners in advancing women in leadership roles. The summit includes a closed-door roundtable, a networking dinner and a full-day conference with influential leaders from healthcare and allied industries.
