2017 year-ender: Cars that can make you drool

This year, we have had seen some of the most exuberant cars to break cover and form our bedroom wall posters or PC wallpapers.

If you have a colossal amount of money and are looking to spend it on something that gives pleasure to the eyes and content to the ears, then cars are your best bet. This year, we have had seen some of the most exuberant cars to break cover and form our bedroom wall posters or PC wallpapers. If you were lucky enough to lay your hands upon one of these, then you must already be having a cheerful new year. However, if you were unfortunate, you can always drool over their posters and hope for the Gods of money to shower blessings next year. Rolls Royce Phantom: The Phantom is not supposed to claim lap records to its name but it will be happy to chauffer you to one of the ultra-exclusive billionaires club in utmost comfort and luxury. The eighth generation Phantom wear's new clothes and gets a new engine options from BMW's shelf 6.7-litre V12. The Phantom 8th-gen also gets four-wheel steering, GPS-guided transmission, self-levelling air springs and electronically-controlled dampers front and rear all of these ensure that you don't feel the thud while the suspension is dealing with bumpy roads.

Lamborghini Centenario: Every Lamborghini should have the ability to make a 7-year-old go Wow!' The latest Centenario makes people across all generations go wild. Built to commemorate Ferrucio's 100th birthday, the Centenario redefines the supercar design rulebook with its gaping air intakes, sweeping lines and potent aerodynamics to keep it glued to the tarmac at 350kph. However, it's a Lamborghini, which means its Aventador-sourced 770hp V12 will rather be seen doing a great Opera at the traffic lights than claim lap records.
Pagani Huayra BC: The Italian boys are back after a long time with the new Huayra BC. It looks like a standard Huayra with some fancy body kits but Pagani says that a lot has gone into the Huayra BC to make it a track focussed racing machine. The BC uses a 6-litre twin-turbo V12 motor producing 745 hp and 1100Nm of torque. It weighs just 1,218kg as its made out of a lighter carbon triax'. Lighter titanium exhausts, new aluminium alloy wheels, a stripped out interior, Pirelli P-Zero Corsas and aeronautical-grade suspension Lamborghini has to take notice.
McLaren 720S: McLaren's halo supercar for the wealthy driving enthusiasts is a culmination of extremely thorough vehicle engineering and beautiful coachwork. The 720S uses a 4-litre twin-turbo V8 that clocks the dyno at 700hp. Add to that some clever onboard computers and you have a car that lets you control every single parameter on it. You can even decide how much the car drifts if you have a heavy right foot. The 720S can pick up its skirts and dash to 100kmh in 2.7 seconds and max out at 360kmh. we have to say that it is definitely the eyeball grabber, whether its on the tarmac or the bedroom wall.
Bugatti Chiron: Bugatti has always been known for its craftsmanship and the latest Chiron doesn't disappoint on that front. Carrying all the design elements that would delight every artist in the world, the Chiron is a mechanical masterpiece with utmost luxury. However, this piece of art can possibly claim to be the fastest car in the world courtesy its 8-litre quad turbo W16 motor that produces1500hp and 1600Nm of torque. Bugatti claims a 0-100kph time of 2.5seconds and the top speed is presently 420kph. Sadly, there are no tires that can let the Chiron create a new speed record.
Dodge Challenger Demon: When Dodge out-muscled' the muscle car the Demon showed to the world that cars are also about doing a quarter mile at a time' rather than gobble up the Nurburgring. The Demon uses an all-new 6.2-litre V8 engine equipped with a 2.7-litre supercharger, which maxes out at 840hp. 0-100kph takes 2.3 seconds, making it the fastest non-electric car. This Challenger can also do 1.8G and wheelies, thanks to 1044Nm of torque. In fact, the Demon is so fast that it the NHRA banned it from taking part in official drag racing in America.
Mercedes AMG Project One: Over the years, car manufacturers have been trying to make a F1 car for the road but failed. However, Mercedes has got the recipe right with the AMG Project One. It looks like a conventional supercar with its 1300Kg carbon fibre body but is basically a F1 racer underneath a 1.6-litre turbocharged 90-degree V6 along with a host of electrical witchcraft to generate 1020hp and handle like one as well. Only 250 units, worth $2.7 million each, will be built and owners will have to return the car once the engine clocks 50,000kms for refurbishment.
