Ranveer, Sanjay, Jeetendra conferred with Dinanath Mangeshkar Awards

As Ranveer Singh couldn't attend the award function, his Bajirao Mastani director Sanjay Leela Bhansali accepted it on his behalf.

Jeetendra featured in popular films like \"Himmatwala\", \"Tohfa\" and \"Dharam Veer\". The actor was last seen in a cameo appearance in Shah Rukh Khans \"Om Shanti Om\".
Director Sanjay Leela Bhansali received the award on Ranveer's behalf.
\"I wish I was there today. I am finding it difficult to describe what it means to me to be recognised by one of the greatest artists of all time. Today I feel the journey of Bajirao Mastani has been properly fulfilled. I promise to work harder and make you more proud in the future,\" the Ranveer said at the 74th Master Dinanath Mangeshkar Awards.
Actor Ranveer Sigh who is currently busy shooting for his next film 'Befikre' in Paris, addressed the gathering via a video message.
Other winners who bagged the honour include Pandit Ajay Chakravorty, Marathi actor Prashant Damle among others.
\"I thank you for this honour. But a bigger award for me is that I am born in the lifetime of Lata and Ashaji. I think it is a lifetime achievement for us to hear them,\" the actor said.
Jeetendra, 74, was conferred with a lifetime achievement award. The veteran actor said said he was honoured to receive the Master Dinanath Mangeshkar award and considers blessed to be born in the lifetime of singers Lata Mangeshkar and Asha Bhosle.
\"My mother is present here and she is happy. She knows how big a fan I am of Mangeshkar family. Not a single day has passed in my life where I didnt listen to their songs... Ive not only heard them but learnt from their compositions a lot about life. This is a very big day for me. This award will be very special for me and my mother,\" Bhansali said at the 74th Master Dinanath Mangeshkar Awards function.
Legendary singer Asha Bhosle was called on to give out the awards. Accepting his best director award Master Dinanath Mangeshkar Awards, 52-year-old Bhansali said he considers the Mangeshkar family a huge inspiration in his life.
Director Sanjay Leela Bhansali and his 'Bajirao Mastani' actor Ranveer Singh, received top honours at the 74th Master Dinanath Mangeshkar Awards, for their magnum opus film that released last December.
