Shahid, Alia, Kareena get along like a house on fire at Udta Punjab trailer launch

The stars created quite a frenzy once they stepped out of the venue.
Talking about her role in the film, Alia Bhatt said, “Firstly, I have to thank Shahid it was because of him I got it. Once in a lifetime opportunity. I just hope people buy it.”
In an interesting turn of events, when asked about reports about his fatherhood, he said, \"Why are you asking ghuma firake (round about), ask directly. Yes...haan mein baap banane wala hoon (yes, I am going to become a father).\"
At the trailer launch, Kareena bonded with her co-star Alia Bhatt in a big way. The two ladies got along like a house on fire.
Kareena Kapoor explained why she agreed to be a part of the film. She said, “I am honoured that Abhishek thought of me in this role. Happy I got to work it. We talk about substance abuse but a film on it with such wonderful actors. Thank you Ekta(Kapoor) it's my first with you.”
Diljit spoke about his experience of working with Kareena, he said, “Thank you guys. I don't deserve to be here. Getting clicked with Kareena ma'am is a big thing. Couldn't get a better debut in Bollywood.”
Shahid said, \"If it was to happen then it would have happened earlier. I think Imtiaz Ali has moved on.\" The two avoided standing beside each other.
Kareena interrupts saying, \"DVD of \"Jab We Met\" is always available.\" When prodded further that does this mean they won't be seen together ever in future in a film like \"Jab We Met\", Kareena said, \"That Imtiaz Ali (director of \"Jab We Met\") will say na, Shahid.\"
When asked at the trailer launch of \"Udta Punjab\" if they are disappointed about not having any scenes together, Shahid said, \"You are asking if we are happy or not on something that has already been done before.\"
Shahid and Kareena have come back on screen together after a very long time for Abhishek Chaubey's film. But interestingly they don't have any scenes together in the film.
