Irrfan Khan says he would love to play APJ Abdul Kalam in biopic

'Madaari' hits theatres on June 10.
Directed by Nishikant Kamath Madaari', also stars Jimmy Sheirgill and Tushar Dalv.
According to reports, 'Madaari' deals with an event that took place during the construction of an overhead Metro bridge on the Andheri-Kurla Road in suburban Mumbai.
Feeling completely helpless and angered by the whole situation, he sets out to take his revenge by kidnapping the Home Minister's son.
In the trailer, Irrfan plays a commoner who loses his son due to an unfortunate incident.
After playing the good guy' in films like Piku' and Talvar', Irrfan switches gears to portray a much darker and grim character in this film, that has been inspired by true events.
According to reports, Marathi filmmaker Pramod Gore is toying with the idea of producing a Hindi film on the 'Missile Man' of India.
\"I have not been approached for the film. I would love to do it. It's a historic character, who wouldn't like to play? It depends on who is making it. I think an actor is incomplete without a director,\" Irrfan told reporters
There have been reports that 'Piku' star Irrfan, is being considered for the role of Kalam in a new film.
At the trailer launch, actor Irrfan Khan said that he is open to playing former President late APJ Abdul Kalam on the silver screen.
