Zarina Wahab Says She Wants Prabhas as Her Son in Next Life
The veteran actress opens up about her emotional bond with Prabhas during the shoot of The Raja Saab, praising his humility and warmth on set
Some screen partnerships go beyond scripts—and for veteran actress Zarina Wahab, one such bond has left a lasting mark. Known for playing mother to many leading men in Indian cinema, Zarina recently shared a heartfelt revelation about her experience working with Prabhas in his upcoming horror film The Raja Saab.
In an interview with Lehren Retro, Zarina praised Prabhas for his humility and warmth, so much so that she expressed a deeply personal wish: to have him as her son in her next life, alongside her real-life son Sooraj Pancholi.
“There cannot be anyone like Prabhas. He is so good that I pray to God—I want two sons in my next life, one Sooraj and one Prabhas. He is such a lovely person,” she said.
Talking about his behaviour on set, she added, “He stays on set the whole time even when it's not his shot. He doesn’t go to his vanity van. He is a darling… I used to be very nervous thinking I will have to work with him. He made me so comfortable. And not just me, he was also nice with his heroines. He always has a smile on his face… I have never seen him misbehaving or raising his voice on set.”
The Raja Saab marks Prabhas’s first foray into the horror genre and is currently under production.
