Two decades after "The Devil Wears Prada" became one of the most beloved fashion films of all time, its much-awaited sequel is finally set to make its OTT debut.
Earlier this year, the film was released in theatres and received an overwhelmingly positive response from audiences. The sequel was released on May 2, 2026, nearly two decades after the original film, which hit cinemas in 2006.

Fans can once again see "Miranda Priestly," "Andy Sachs," and "Emily Charlton" sharing the screen.
The Devil Wears Prada 2 will begin streaming on JioHotstar in India from July 29, 2026. The film will also be released simultaneously on Disney+ and Hulu in select international markets on the same day.
For viewers in India, the film will be available in both English and Hindi language.
The story picks up two decades after the events of the first film. Andy Sachs is laid off as a journalist and is later hired as Runway's features editor to help a scandal-plagued and struggling Miranda Priestly navigate the digital age. As they face corporate interference and a power struggle involving former colleague Emily Charlton, Andy and Miranda join forces to save the magazine.
To the astonishment of fans, the film also features cameo appearances by Lady Gaga, Donatella Versace, Marc Jacobs, Ciara, Calum Harper, and Ashley Graham.
The second installment reunites many familiar faces while introducing several new ones.
The film is directed by David Frankel and is based on a story by Lauren Weisberger. The cast includes Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, Stanley Tucci, Justin Theroux, Kenneth Branagh, Lucy Liu, B.J. Novak, Simone Ashley, and Tracie Thoms.
