Vijay Sethupathi and Puri Jagannadh’s much-awaited action entertainer Slum Dog is reportedly being planned for a December release.
“The makers are looking at releasing the film in December after locking a suitable date,” says a source. “It is an action-adventure that presents Vijay Sethupathi in a completely new avatar and also expected to mark a comeback for Puri Jagannath," he adds
The makers recently unveiled the title along with an intriguing first-look poster. Vijay Sethupathi appears in a stylish yet menacing avatar, sporting a new hairstyle and sunglasses while wielding a blood-soaked weapon. The striking look has already generated considerable curiosity among fans.
Sharing the first look, the team described the character with the caption: “From the slums… rises a storm no one can stop. RAW. RUTHLESS. REAL. #PuriSethupathi is #SlumDog – 33 Temple Road.”
