The long-awaited elections to the Telugu Film Producers Council (TFPC) are likely to be held on September 6, according to industry sources. The elections are expected to take place after the Council's General Body meeting and are likely to witness a keen contest among leading producers.

The current TFPC executive committee, elected in 2023, is headed by K.L. Damodar Prasad as president. Industry insiders believe the upcoming polls could bring significant changes to the Council's leadership.
