Tamannaah Reflects on Spiritual Experience After Hosting Linga Bhairavi Devi Punya Puja
The Odela 2 actress shared that the occasion became even more meaningful because it was shared with family
Actor Tamannaah Bhatia has shared an emotional account of hosting the Linga Bhairavi Devi Punya Puja at her home, describing the spiritual gathering as a deeply transformative experience. In a social media post, the multi-lingual actress recalled how, even after the guests had departed and the chants had faded, she found herself sitting beside the deity. She was reluctant for the day to come to an end.
"Everyone had left. The chants had faded. The puja was complete. Yet I found myself sitting beside Devi, not wanting the day to end," she wrote, adding that the atmosphere continued to feel alive with the energy of prayer, celebration, devotion and togetherness.
The Odela 2 actress shared that the occasion became even more meaningful because it was shared with family, loved ones and others who had gathered at her home. According to Tamannaah, spiritual processes conducted within a home have the ability to impact not only those who organise them but also everyone who takes part in them.
She also expressed gratitude to the sadhvis from the Isha Yoga Center for conducting the ceremony. Tamannaah observed their dedication, joy and devotion brought a unique warmth to the occasion and helped create a special atmosphere throughout the day.
Reflecting on the experience, Tamannaah said the feeling that stayed with her most was that the presence of Devi seemed to transform the environment itself. She remarked that when Devi enters a home, "she doesn't just enter a room. She changes the atmosphere around it."
The actor further recounted an unexpected development on the morning of the puja. With Mumbai experiencing intense heat in the days leading up to the event, she said there had been concerns about ensuring the comfort of attendees. However, she woke up at dawn to find rain-soaked flowers, swaying trees and cool winds, with the oppressive heat having disappeared.
