Rashmika Mandanna Really Charging ₹15 Crore for Cocktail 2?

Rumours about actress Rashmika Mandanna charging a whopping ₹15 crore for her upcoming Hindi film Cocktail 2 have been doing the rounds on social media. However, industry sources have dismissed the reports as exaggerated.

"I don't think these reports are true," says a trade source. "Considering her popularity across India and overseas markets, Rashmika may be commanding around ₹10 crore at the most, but ₹15 crore appears unlikely at this stage."

There is no denying that Rashmika has emerged as one of the most sought-after actresses in the country. Widely regarded as the 'National Crush,' she strengthened her position in Bollywood with successful films such as Animal and Chhaava. Although she entered Hindi cinema before the release of Pushpa, the blockbuster franchise significantly boosted her nationwide appeal and market value.

The source points out that Rashmika's remuneration for her Telugu film Mysaa, in which she plays a powerful author-backed role, is reportedly around ₹5 to 6 crore. "She may have entered the double-digit remuneration bracket in Bollywood, but figures beyond that are difficult to believe," he says.

In Cocktail 2, Rashmika is expected to share screen space with Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon. Industry reports suggest that Shahid Kapoor is drawing a significantly higher paycheck, while Kriti and Rashmika are believed to be receiving similar remuneration.

Interestingly, despite being relatively newer to Bollywood than Kriti Sanon, Rashmika's growing popularity has reportedly helped her reach a comparable pay scale. Her success in both South Indian cinema and Hindi films has made her one of the few actresses with strong pan-India appeal.
