Reigning star Ram Charan, celebrated for his electrifying dance performances, has once again proved that his generosity matches his talent. The actor has stepped forward to support the Dancers’ Association by personally taking responsibility for providing comprehensive health insurance coverage to every member.

By making this significant commitment, Ram Charan has shown his unwavering support for dancers, who form the backbone of Telugu cinema’s energetic song-and-dance culture. With the total cost estimated at around Rs 50 lakhs, the initiative comes as a timely and meaningful move amid rising healthcare expenses in the film industry.

Ram Charan’s bond with dancers runs deep. His chart-topping dance numbers in blockbuster films have brought global recognition to Telugu choreography and performers. Now, the actor is giving back by ensuring long-term security for those who contribute immensely to the visual magic on screen.

Speaking about the initiative, Rajeshwar Reddy, former president of the Telugu Film Industry Employees Federation, said, “The Dancers’ Association is part of the Telugu Film Industry Employees Federation. Ram Charan’s support is widely welcomed, as dancers work extremely hard in the industry.”

He further added that dance plays a vital role in Telugu films. “With most Telugu films featuring multiple dance numbers, dancers constantly push themselves to raise the standards of Telugu cinema. Dance sequences featuring stars like Allu Arjun, Jr NTR, and Ram Charan have been appreciated worldwide, and Telugu choreographers are doing an excellent job with their unique styles,” he said.

According to Reddy, the Dancers’ Association has over 500 members who undergo rigorous training to perfect every step. “Dancers rehearse for two to three days for each song, practicing various steps to deliver foot-tapping and high-energy numbers,” he explained.

He also pointed out a shortage of female dancers in Tollywood. “Due to the lack of female dancers locally, many are brought in from Mumbai. Dancers from countries such as Russia, the US, and others are also hired for specific requirements,” he concluded.

Ram Charan’s gesture has been widely praised, highlighting his respect for the artists who add rhythm, energy, and global appeal to Telugu cinema.
