The makers of upcoming Telugu biggie The Paradise, starring Nani and directed by Srikanth Odela, have officially dismissed rumours surrounding reshoots and delays.

The production team took to X to clarify ongoing speculation that the film had entered a reshoot phase. According to the makers, The Paradise has already completed over 100 days of shooting and “there was never a day allocated for reshoots.” They further added that there are no such plans in the future either, insisting that the film is progressing exactly as per schedule.

However, industry buzz continues around the film’s release timeline. Rumours suggest that the project has already missed its intended summer window, creating uncertainty over its theatrical release. The makers are reportedly eyeing an August 21 release, though sources claim the team will have to work aggressively to meet the deadline. The delays are also said to have increased both budgetary pressure and time constraints.

Despite the speculation, the production house reiterated that the shoot is progressing smoothly without interruptions.

Earlier promotional material, including the film’s glimpse video and the “Aaya Sher” song, generated solid buzz across social media and trade circles. While the content received positive attention, fans believe stronger promotions will be needed as the release approaches.

According to sources, The Paradise is shaping up to be the costliest film in Nani’s career, with a budget reportedly exceeding Rs 160 crore. The makers are said to be mounting the project on a pan-Indian scale with international appeal. Bollywood actor Raghav Juyal is playing the antagonist, while veteran actor Mohan Babu is set to appear in a powerful role. Massive sets and top-tier technicians have reportedly been brought on board to deliver a larger-than-life cinematic experience.

After the success of Dasara and the action-packed HIT 3, Nani appears determined to further cement his action-hero image with The Paradise, moving away from his earlier lover-boy roles. “Action heroes tend to enjoy longer standing in the industry,” concludes the source.
