Seasoned star Nagarjuna is celebrating a remarkable milestone of completing forty years in cinema, a journey defined by style, versatility, and memorable performances. Among the many significant dates in his life, May 23 holds a deeply emotional place for the actor and his fans across the globe. It was on this day in 1986 that Nagarjuna began his acting career with his debut film Vikram. Coincidentally, May 23 also witnessed the release of Manam in 2014, a film that became even more special as it marked the final screen appearance of his legendary father, Akkineni Nageswara Rao.
On this memorable occasion, Nagarjuna took to X and shared an emotional message expressing gratitude for the love and blessings showered on him. Reflecting on the significance of the date, he wrote, “Thank you for all the blessings and love being showered on me today, May 23!! The date I cannot forget!! The day I had the honour of producing and releasing the last film MANAM of my legendary father ANR, a film where I had the privilege of sharing screen space with both my father and my sons. Years ago, May 23 also gave me the opportunity to release my first film Vikram, beginning a journey to entertain all of you and receive your love and blessings. My deepest gratitude to all the fans who have stood by me through these years. Looking forward to many more May 23s.”
