Maa Inti Bangaram Maker Nandini Reddy Backs Diljit Dosanjh's Satluj After ZEE5 Withdrawal

Tollywood director Nandini Reddy has extended her support to Honey Trehan’s film Satluj, starring Diljit Dosanjh, after it was removed from Zee5 India just two days after its release. The filmmaker, known for Ala Modalaindi and Oh! Baby, shared her thoughts on social media and praised the team for telling a difficult story.
The Maa Inti Bangaram maker posted a video showing people in Punjab gathering to watch the film. She revealed that she had to pause the movie before its final 30 minutes because of its emotional impact. She said the trauma portrayed in the film affected her deeply and added that she wished she had finished watching it. Nandini also praised director Honey Trehan and actor Diljit Dosanjh. She said stories that reflect painful truths deserve space and questioned the meaning of freedom if such stories cannot be told.
Meanwhile, Satluj has surfaced online through pirated copies after being taken down from Zee5 India. The streaming platform has expressed concern over the illegal circulation of the film. It has urged viewers not to support piracy and to avoid sharing or watching unauthorized versions.
