Rumours Abound: Katrina Kaif in Talks for Prabhas' Spirit?

Fresh speculation is doing the rounds that Bollywood star Katrina Kaif could make a special appearance in Prabhas' much-awaited action drama Spirit, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga.

Earlier, actress Deepika Padukone was reportedly signed as the female lead opposite Prabhas. While she shared screen space with the star in Kalki 2898 AD, many felt the film offered limited scenes featuring the pair together. Deepika was later announced as part of Spirit, but eventually exited the project.

Now, industry buzz suggests that Katrina Kaif is being considered for a pivotal cameo in the film. According to the rumours, Sandeep Reddy Vanga has envisioned a short yet impactful role for the actress—one that could significantly alter the course of the narrative at a crucial juncture.

Although the role is said to have limited screen time, insiders claim it could be one of the film's biggest surprises if the reports prove true.

Katrina, who has considerably reduced her film commitments after marrying actor Vicky Kaushal, has been away from the big screen for nearly two years. Her recent releases did not perform as expected, and she has largely stayed away from signing new projects.

If the reports materialise, Spirit would mark Katrina's return to Telugu cinema after nearly two decades. She was last seen in Telugu films such as Malliswari, opposite Venkatesh, and Allari Pidugu, starring Nandamuri Balakrishna.
