Actress Niddhi Agerwal, who was mobbed at one of the promotional events for the film The Raja Saab at a Hyderabad mall recently, termed it as an unfortunate incident, and that she had much to say about what happened that day, but would do so at the right time.

Speaking during an interview, when she was asked about the incident, Agerwal said, "Well, it was an unfortunate incident that took place that day." "I have so much to say about that incident, but I feel like I want to speak at the right time because it's a very sensitive topic, and anything I say can be taken out of context by people who are reading stuff and all of that. So I will talk about it, but in some time," she added.
Last month, a video of the actor trying to navigate her way through a crowd towards her car, went viral on social media. Agerwal who appeared visibly uncomfortable around the surging crowd of men, even as her security tried to make way for her, managed to get into the vehicle and left the venue.
The actor stars alongside Telugu superstar Prabhas in "Raja Saab", a horror comedy, which released in theatres on Friday (January 9th, 2026). The film also stars Sanjay Dutt, Zareena Wahab, Malavika Mohanan, Riddhi Kumar and Boman Irani.

The film was released amid massive expectations, but opened to mixed reviews. While netizens have been praising Prabhas’ comedy timing and the film's climax, critics had a different perspective. The digital rights for The Raja Saab have been acquired by Jio Hotstar, and the film is likely to begin streaming by the end of February 2026. However, an official OTT release date has yet to be announced by the makers.
