Puri Jagannadh to launch his son!

Director Puri Jagannadh is all set to launch his son Akash Puri in the coming few days. The director believes that this is the best time for his son’s debut, and has kept a script ready, which he will be directing. 

“Puri Jagan is presently busy with the promotions of his film Paisa Vasool. Once it releases, he will immediately move onto his son’s project,” says a source.

Akash earlier worked as assistant director to his father on a few films, including Paisa Vasool and Rogue. He made his debut as lead actor with Andhra Pori, but it wasn’t considered a ‘proper launch’ as it was a children’s film. 

“He (Puri) had prepared the script for his son some time ago but was waiting for the right time, which he feels is now,” adds the source. 

Meanwhile, Akash, who previously acted as a child artiste in many films, has built up his muscles and put on weight for his upcoming film.
