The Tamil film Vikram Vedha has proved to be sensational at the box office. Starring Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi, the film which is a gangster drama, is also being appreciated critically. And the latest buzz is that the film could be remade in Telugu with Venkatesh and his nephew Rana reprising the roles of the duo.

A source from the industry informs, “Talks are on. The duo have been waiting for a good script to come their way if they ever have to collaborate. Interestingly, the film’s director duo Pushkar and Gayatri had both of them in mind for the film even before the Tamil version began.” However, nothing is concrete yet and several discussions will have to take place before zeroing in on anything.

The Tamil version has Madhavan as an encounter specialist while Vijay plays a gangster. Interestingly, the film’s producer, Sashikanth, had earlier produced the remake of Irudhu Suttru with Venkatesh in Telugu as Guru.
