Bheeshma unit thrilled by Hrithik Roshan’s tweet

A day after Bheeshma lead pair Nithiin and Rashmika Mandanna recreated a popular dance move from Hrithik Roshan’s recent number Ghungroo from the movie War, the Bollywood star acknowledged the gesture in a tweet.

“Sweet. Thank you so much Rashmika & Nithiin. Best wishes for #Bheeshma! Love you guys:) (sic).” Naturally, Hrithik’s reply sent the entire unit into raptures of joy.

Sharing details about the Ghungroo dance move, Bheeshma director Venky Kudumula says it was actually Nithiin’s idea to pay tribute to his favourite star, Hrithik. “We have been shooting in Italy for the last few days. Nithiin, who is a huge fan of Hrithik, wanted to pay tribute to him,” shares Venky.

Since the Ghungroo number was shot at Positano, Nithiin wanted recreate a popular dance move from that song, Venky explained, adding that they had gone to  the Positano beach specifically for the purpose. “It was heartening that Hrithik acknowledged our gesture. His reply has really made our day,” Venky said. However, the little jig will not form part the film.
