Isha Talwar signs her next
The actress is to play Nawazuddin's love interest in Tannishtha Chatterjee's film, Roam Rome Mein.
After her Bollywood debut with Kaalakaandi opposite Saif Ali Khan, Isha Talwar has signed her next Hindi film, Roam Rome Mein.
In the film that is being directed by Tannishtha Chatterjee, who signed her after she saw her earlier films, Isha will be playing the love interest of Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
Talking about the project, Isha says, “It’s a different experience working with a female director. But she never behaved like a director on the sets; she was doing my hair and make-up, adjusting my kajal, and the energy she brings is very infectious.”
Despite doing several films in the South, Isha states that she had auditioned for the role. The actress elaborates, “I gave a few rounds of audition so that the makers were sure how I look in the role. The director narrated the plot to me, and later I had to undergo training to understand the role better. Since Tannishtha herself is an actress and a National Award winner, she knows how to get the best from the actors.”
