Before the release of Vangaveeti, Sandy was just another actor trying to make a mark in the industry. But with the film’s release, things have changed. His performance is receiving a lot of appreciation and offers are coming in too.
Interestingly, it was his roles in films like Jyothi Lakshmi and Loafer that changed the game for him. A native of Kakinada, Sandy came to Hyderabad to become an actor. It sure looks like things are working out well for him.
“Ram Gopal Varma saw me in Puri Jagannadh’s office and asked me if I’d be interested in being a part of Vangaveeti. The rest, as they say, is history,” he reveals.
Sandy did his own bit of research to get into the skin of his character. He plays both Vangaveeti Ranga and Radha in the film. “I first started reading about Radha and after filming began, I researched Ranga too. The story was really interesting for me,” he shares.
