Actress Sanjjanaa jumps on the Congress bandwagon

Actress Sanjjanaa is all set to campaign for the Congress party in the coming Karnataka Assembly elections. Over the last few weeks, her tweets have been in support of the party. According to a source, the actress is gearing up to join the Congress party in the presence of AICC Chief Rahul Gandhi. “She was supposed to join during Rahul Gandhi’s Hubballi visit but it got postponed due to some unknown reasons,” says a source.

According to the source, Madhu Yashki and G. Narayana, both Congress members from Telangana, worked to get Sanjjanaa into their party. Once the actress officially joins, she will be seen campaigning.

Interestingly, popular actor Prakash Raj too is campaigning for the Congress party. When asked if she would join the party, she says, “It is too early to comment about it. But I wish that the Congress party comes into power in Karnataka.”
