Sriram Venu to direct Allu Arjun
The stylish actor happens to have signed a film with the MCA helmer, and he’s expecting this one to own it at the box-office!
Looks like Allu Arjun is on a film-signing spree! After signing movies with the directors Trivikram Srinivas and Sukumar, the Naa Peru Surya star has signed another project! This one’s going to be directed by Sriram Venu, who earlier delivered a hit with MCA. So we had previously reported that Sriram Venu was penning a drama and that he was planning to pitch the plotline to a star hero.
Well, turns out that his star hero is Allu Arjun! After working extensively on the script, Venu narrated it to the actor, who found it thoroughly interesting. Captivated by the content, the actor apparently approved the script in the first sitting itself and believes that it has the potential to become a box-office winner!
A source close to the film’s unit informs, “The film is in its pre-production stage right now and the Sriram is giving finishing touches to its script. Dil Raju is bankrolling the movie, and it is expected to go on the floor once the actor wraps up Trivikram Srinivas’s film.”
