From donning the avatar of a rustic baddie to being the suave good man, Jagapati Babu has done it all in his second innings in Tollywood, and he sure isn’t getting a break anytime soon. The latest is that the actor has been roped in to play a key role in Ravi Teja’s film with Kalyan Krishna.

“The director has designed a very interesting conflict between the hero and the villain and he needed an actor who’d be on par with Ravi Teja, both in terms of performance and stature. That’s how Jagapati Babu was approached. It looks like things will work out for sure,” shares a source.

The film goes on the floors in January and is touted to be a complete entertainer with a rural backdrop. Pre-production work on the film is on.
