Actress Bhumika Chawla has been roped in for a crucial role in Balakrishna’s next.
Nandamuri Balakrishna’s upcoming film under K.S. Ravi Kumar’s direction is making steady progress. After Sonal Chauhan’s name emerged as the leading lady, we now hear that actress Bhumika Chawla has been taken aboard in a pivotal role. Ever since Bhumika’s role in her comeback films, Middle Class Abbayi and U-Turn, received rave reviews, the actress has been a hot pick for supporting roles. But her role in Balakrishna’s film has been kept under wraps.
The film’s director Ravi Kumar felt that a high-budget story such as this needed a strong support cast. “The filmmakers are leaving nothing to chance in their attempt to rope in an ensemble cast. They wanted to shoot on a lavish scale with ideal casting. Bhumika’s inclusion into the team is part of the decision,” a source informed us.
The shooting will commence in early August and a few action sequences of the film will be shot in Bangkok. Apparently, Balayya will be seen sporting two shades in the action drama.
