Samantha Akkineni’s best yet to come!

Actress Samantha Akkineni looks super excited about her upcoming films — Majili, in which she is playing the female lead role opposite her husband Chaitanya, and O Baby, which has been directed by Nandini Reddy. Samantha’s roles in both films happen to be very challenging and performance-oriented.

While the actress is playing a serious character in Majili, her performance in O Baby is definitely going to be her best to date, according to reports from insiders. “A few people from the unit recently watched some finished scenes from the film and they are stunned by Samantha’s performance,” said a unit member.

“The film is going to be hilarious. Samantha is actually playing Rao Ramesh’s mother in it. However, there is an interesting twist in the movie when she morphs into another character, after which the film turns into quite a ride,” said the source, adding, “Although Rajendra Prasad and Ramesh Rao’s characters are indeed quite important, Samantha’s character dominates both the talented actors in the film.”

“Jagapathi Babu has a very small role in the film, but his part happens to be the key turning point of the movie. This film is going to be another milestone in Samantha's career,” the source concluded.

Samantha and Chaitanya are leaving no stone unturned to promote Majili. The audience too is keen to see them together on screen.
