Teja’s take on Article 370

Going by the talks taking place between director Teja and a leading production house in Mumbai, it may be safe to assume that Teja is probably going to direct a Hindi film next.

It is for sure, however, that filmmaker Teja has been planning to direct a film based on the abrogation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir. And a production house from Mumbai has shown interest and has come forward to bankroll it. “I have been working on a script that is based on Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir. The discussions with the producers are currently underway,” confirms the director.

We also hear that the producers approached Teja for directing a Hindi film as they were impressed with Teja’s conception of an idea as well as his style of filmmaking. Further prods on whether top stars such as Amitabh Bachchan would feature in the film only brings a smiles on his face. “It’s premature to comment on all that. I need to first complete the script, and then I’ll see how things go,” he adds.
