Kalyan Ram and Jr NTR: The sibling bond

These days, actor Kalyan Ram is a happy man. His recent release Ism has been well received at the box office and is declared as the biggest opener of his career. With a share of '7.8 crore in the first weekend, a lot of things have changed for him. The bonhomie he shares with his half-brother Jr NTR, has now become the talk of the town.

Not too long ago, the brothers didn’t see eye-to-eye, but for the past two years, they have been bonding and being a source of support for each other. “The past has gone. With time, everyone changes, so did I. I’ve become mature enough to understand how important family is and what being together means. I am glad we are in this phase today,” he says adding, “I ask him for his suggestions related to work and he always has the best inputs. In fact, when I was undergoing a change of look for Ism, he was one of the few who convinced me that it would be for the better, despite my apprehensions.”

Elaborating on the relationship they share now, he says, “I do not believe in being the elder brother — I’d rather be a friend to him and an equal.  Interestingly, my son is in awe of his uncle’s dance moves. He even tells me, ‘Nanna nuvvu kuda ala dance cheyi’. Well, do you think that’s possible?” he adds with a laugh.
